DEQUAGEL is the trade name of our amorphous or crystalline alumina gels. These chemical compounds with a general formula of AlOOH.xH₂O are obtained in aqueous medium by chemical precipitation of various high purity aluminium salts or aluminium alcoholate hydrolyses.

Peptisation can be obtained by adding diluted acid and the final products are sols (Dequasol), prior to becoming dispersible alumina (Dequadis).
